Shit happens you know? It was like 2 years ago when I left my apartment, and immediately at shutting the door realized I forgot my keys. Oh well, onto do my shopping, calling the serviceman and paying like 80 euros to get in because it was the weekend.

One f***ing expensive box of wine I set up to getting...
thankfully I don't have to ever lock my door

Sigh...the ways be berate normal human beings for normal things because we don't like them.
That just me, I f***ing hate those types of mistakes so I would be f***ing hard on myself for doing it and pari passu I'm hard on others. For the record I don't hate Moser even though he's not very good. It helps that the team is good, not sure I could handle a rebuild with him.

You guys should listen to this interview instead of clips or reading blurbs. Nate's a really smart, thoughtful guy, but you rarely get to see/hear it, because he's not a big fan of doing media.

I think people tend to get the wrong idea about him too, because he's such an intense competitor.

He's a great interview too when he's comfortable, because he's so introspective, and pretty honest. Not many chances to see his true personality in a situation where he's comfortable.

Starts at 1:23:23.

Yeah, he's been a great interview for years now. His spots on Chiclets are always worth a re-watch.

He had a great one with some random podcaster in Halifax after the Cup too that’s probably still floating around on YouTube. Changed a lot of the off ice perception I had of him

On the plus side... this keeps some distribution and possible saves some of the TV deals over time. On the downside... the longer Diamond stays alive, the longer blackout restrictions will continue.

Im ready for the feds to bust up Amazon
There is really no case for it... the feds can't break up Google and their death grip on the internet, there's far less of a case for Amazon.

I'd love to believe that blackouts will one day be a thing of the past. But the NHL itself blackouts the vast majority of hockey fans everytime they air a game on NHLN. Those are all national broadcasts and blackedout on ESPN+.

The fact is the NHL really just doesn't give a shit. It's a non-factor in their eyes.

Blackouts were for another era and helped them negotiate deals. Now they hinder the teams because fewer eyeballs mean less money. And the amount of not so legal sources showing the game makes it even worse. In KSEs world though these seem to mean nothing. Denver is out in Neverland for this one, nothing like it going on anywhere else.

The MLB, NBA, and NHL are all trying to get away from blackout restrictions. MLB has been the most aggressive, but NBA and NHL were really trying to separate these Bally teams to regain the rights and then offer some special packages. Just a few weeks ago, there was an agreement that those rights would end at the end of this season and revert to the NBA/NHL. With the idea that (in the NHL's case) through ESPN there would then be a package to subscribe to one team or a collection of teams without restrictions.... and the whole package would have lost restrictions for those teams. There was a big caveat though... if Bally found an investor, they'd keep the rights. Looks like this deal would keep the right with Bally.

Someone I know said the NHL is just fine keeping things the way they are, blackouts and all, because it keeps the PA in escrow. I'm not saying he's an insider source or anything, just a guy with an opinion. I could see the NHL being that spiteful

Guess we're at the "Amazing Spider-Man" stage of this saga.
