Here's the thing. DaThizzee was in every Avs thread last season sure in the fact that the Avs would lose. From the Blues then the Oilers and then Tampa Bay.

Then when we won the cup, not even a whisper from his direction. We won't hear back from him unless the Kraken win another game, until the next series of course. Then his proud proclamation of ALWAYS RIGHT will prove once again how the opposite is always true

Sadly for Seattle, Grubauer can't save glove-side shots, even if MacKinnon put up the goal of the playoffs thus far. It sucks because I liked Grubs when he was with the Avs, but they made the right decision to allow him to leave.

This series is far from over and IMO Avs will have to work incredibly hard to close out a quality opponent. But I'll just say this Avs team in full flight is just so fun to watch. They were doing things last night no other team in the league can do.

Don't worry about this moving forward. We are sending out our check to the refs tomorrow morning. We being most of the Avs fan base of course. Since we didn't think the Kraken would pose too much of a problem, we opted to save our money for the next series. But just like last season we have enough for the rest of the playoffs.

Here's hoping it works out the same way

I agree. They looked like they had it figured it out in game 1, but Colorado adapted. Now it’s up to Seattle to make it happen again.

If you're struggling to win faceoffs against the Avs then you're in big trouble.
