This move should have happened in November.

Thanks for helping us win a Stanley Cup Fraser, but its time to move on.

This might be a chance for Fraser to fine tune his game...sort of to get the cobwebs out of his head...

If he's picked up...fine...if not...also fine with me...

Again, appreciate what he did as a member of that team, but it's 2014 now and what he did in 2012 has no relevance to today.

Fraser should have been one, of many bottom six players that were unloaded this summer. Happy to see he is gone, hopefully Clifford is next.

Are you suggesting that we waive Clifford?

No, but he absolutely should be traded if he has any kind of trade value whatsoever.

I understand Lewis provides speed and PK, Stoll faceoffs and PK. Clifford and Lewis provide absolutely nothing but vanilla below average 4th line play. We should not have had to wait this long to see atleast one of them move on.

Fraser was a healthy scratch for the Hawks in the 2010 playoffs when they won the Cup and the 2009 playoffs when they went to the WCF.

But according to Hawks pbp man Fat Foley, he never whined about being scratched after being a regular most of the season and he was an excellent teammate.

No problem with Fraser as a 13th or 14th forward, but Sutter uses his 4th line to much for Fraser to be a regular on this team.

I don't think we NEED to trade Clifford, but I too would like to see him moved, but for different reasons. Clifford isn't going to be a difference maker. He's not going to hurt the team if he remain on our roster, but he's not going to be much of an asset on our 4th line, other than body checks and fights.

Fraser was an OK 4th line center. He played a game coaches love as far as 4th liners go. He was solid on the faceoffs, decently physical for a not really big centerman, didn't complain about ice time and you could see him working his butt off every shift despite his offensive shortcomings...

I am sure, somewhere Sutter and Lombardi hope he doesn't get claimed so he can call him up after the trade deadline.

I am happy tho, to see a new face in the lineup. I think the Kings need some of that youth freshness that once King and Nolan provided that gave the Kings game identity and lead to the Stanley cup run...

Really excited...

I hope he gets claimed so his cap hit is gone for potential trades.

He seems like such a Nashville player. Do it Preds!

Good guy, good team mate. I hope Fraser finds work elsewhere.

Great all around guy, that never complained. Wish him/Family luck.

Thank you Fraser for your hard work, and always being nice to fans.

I'm always sad when good guys get let go, but I would rather the team get better. I'm sure he will find a team.

If he's assigned to Manchester, his cap hit still counts, but at a reduced rate? I'm assuming its to save an extra little bit over the next couple weeks in preparation for the deadline. Do I know the things I know?

I always was a fan of his. Wish him nothing but the best. A really solid person and a great extra forward.

Not really sure why he's the odd man out though.

Wonder if that Florida rumor is a Dale Tallon joke. But if they put in a claim, I believe we won't find out until Monday since there is a 48 hour cycle for teams to put in claims on players who are placed on waivers during a weekend.
