Necas+Kotkaniemi may be better than holding a bag of air after Rantanen leaves for nothing but it sure doesn’t inspire me for this season’s Cup run, I can tell you that much.

I feel like with this and the Blackwood deal the Avs are maybe less setup to drop off in the next 3-5 year window, but not putting the pedal to the metal during a prime MacK+Makar year just seems like…not ideal.
