If Mikko had played with as much intensity as Nuke then he’d still be with the Avs. While I think Rants will do well with the Stars, I’m not sure he’ll ramp up his game like he did up to the SC year.

Mikko taking so long to make a decision really screwed them IMO. With more time they could have easily turned one or both of those 1st round picks into something really good which would have keep them as a contender this season. Now it will be very difficult for them to make it far in the East.
