Wow Adams is alive.

Don't think I like the trade; Byram has injury history and Mitts has been great.

oh my god, what? I'm really surprised Colorado is giving up on Byram, but maybe I'm behind the times. Also, I know this must be tough for Buffalo fans, seeing Mittelstadt really blossom and then get moved.

On another note, Colorado with a 1-2 punch of MacK and Mittelstadt at C? Damn, yes please.
I think it was either him or Girard. Surprisingly Girard has been very solid since coming back from NHLPA. Also probably have to do with the terms on G's contract while Byram is at 3,85$ signed for 2 years.

If Byram shifts to RD going forward, I think that makes sense and clears up the LHD issue. But with that being said, I also feel like I question his fit among the other defensemen on Buffalo. He seems like more of what they already have a bunch of: flawed defensively puck movers.

I figure they're banking on Power developing further and running with Power-Byram as a pair.
