I understand this for Colorado but I don't get it for Buffalo. Aren't they really deep on LD? Odd to add another guy like Byram in this deal.

Pretty much all their LHD have been playing right D at some stage this season and not looked bad but yeah, it would've made sense acquiring a RHD.

Cozens
Mittlested
Krebs
Ohlund - coming up soon

It’s a smart more to trade from position of strength. Their center won’t suffer in the near future and they add a top 4 D.

I think Mittlsted is nice but he is not going to outproducr Thompson and Cozens…

Some of us have been peddling this guy for a #2 centre for months. I (and others) suggested Byram+Rantanen for Pettersson when it was rumored Pettersson was available. I have no idea where the other idiots are...
