Dahlin is PP1, Power is PP2. Maybe they feel they will run two defense on the second unit but that doesn’t seem likely either.

How so? Dumping RyJo should have cost us an asset. Instead we got a Right D which we needed and gave up a late first next year.

Mitts has been great defensively and is best in transition, imo. Someone look up the advanced stats and tell me how wrong I am, but he hasn’t struck me as an offensive-first player in a while. He’s the defensively sound guy we throw out there after Thompson and Cozens go gongshow for 2 minutes.

He's certainly improved in that area. He still gives up over 3.0/60 with heavy Ozone deployment so that's very poor, but it has to be taken into context. It's a young roster with below average goaltending. The bigger concern is what happens when he gets D zone deployment in Colorado because you know Mackinnon is getting that 65% Ozone starts he got in Buffalo in Colorado.

Some Avs posters are just horrifically bad posters. They've always been like that. Byram is a 4-5 with potential. They thought he was some untouchable piece. Watch the same guys turn on him now.

Good luck bo! A great young player who hasn’t had the best year but will get over it.

Sad to see him go but the Avs needed to restructure the build of their roster and reallocate more cap space to the center ice position. Bo hurts to lose but you aren’t gonna get anything decent without feeling it.
