For our Charlie Coyle ? Wow

Ummm. I don't get it. Mitts has not been good recently, but... this is it? Kinda wanted to see what he could do for the rest of the year without any of the 2C pressure.

Absolutely horrid trade by Colorado. You cannot convince me that Mitts is THAT bad. Avs PAID to get Mittelstadt off the team. Malpractice levels of asset management here.

He has been that bad recently. Complete non-factor. His all-zeros statlines have been a running gag in the Avs forum.

This is still horrible value, especially if you date it back to the Byram trade. I think there may have been a locker room / attitude issue for the Avs to go for that.

I still don't understand how suddenly the guy turned into a rotten pumpkin after starting off strong at the end of last year and the beginning of the season.

May be the most incorrect thing typed on this site in a week.

Absolutely embarrassing statement.
It’s so hard as a fan who doesn’t know the player they acquire well lol. Can never parse the crap from the truth. I still don’t know what to believe, there’s more fake news is these threads than on tv lol…

Wow, this will be one, if not the worst trade today.....

Whatever CMac was thinking...But holy shit...Thats not a good deal for the Avs, imho

The Avs are loaded for this playoff run. Big, heavy, and deep up front now. Have the stars we know can perform.

Man, the Central and Atlantic divs are absolute gauntlets. Teams should be trying to get in the other sides of the brackets.

I liked coyle a lot more than, well, just about everyone it seems, and really not a fan of middlestadt. But hard to argue with the return from the Boston perspective.

Coyle has been a solid warrior for BOS over the years. Honeslty, the B's looked their best in that '23 playoff push when Krejci and Bergeron were injured and Coyle Zacha were 1C ands 2C. I still feel like BOS could have beaten FLA if Monty didn't slot Krejci and Bergy back too early. Alas.

Sadly, Coyle has struggled to make any sort of impact this year. He has slowed down and just hasn't had an luck. Is he injured? I truly hope he finds the fountain of youth. I'll be rooting for COL with him on the squad.
