Especially that the 3rd 2021 is already in the past.My favorite part is the Arizona 3rd. Like this offer is just too generous and AZ has to add a little something to balance it out. LOL

wow that's pretty bad for Arizona. They will get at least 2 top 7 prospects and a 1st rounder.
Not knowing much about Montreal's system but I would say something like
2022 1st rounder
2023 2nd rounder
Caufield
Guhle
Tuch
And again, not sure of the valve for Guhle and Tuch. But I know Arizona is going to want a HUGE haul for him especially that he's locked up at a great number.
For what it's worth, the Yotes are getting a historical 2nd in return.Especially that the 3rd 2021 is already in the past.
Possible first overall and late first is a huge difference i actually wouldn't do 2022 first overall alone for himThat’s brutal. So the fans convinced their getting a 1st rounder for Chariot (they may) think they’re getting Chychrun without giving up a 1st.
wdym??dream on.
Habs are keeping their pick. Would love to get Chychrun but we are also rebuilding. We have nothing of value that we would be willing to trade.Lets say the Habs gets the 2OV or 3OV (we keep the 1OV if we have it)
Would 2OV or 3OV for Chychrun make sense ?
I mean Chychrun is only 23 year of age.
Now this is almost as bad as the Op's offer but in favor for Arizona .wow that's pretty bad for Arizona. They will get at least 2 top 7 prospects and a 1st rounder.

Talk about taking everything out of context just to start a troll war. That’s brutal. So the fans convinced their getting a 1st rounder for Chariot (they may) think they’re getting Chychrun without giving up a 1st.

Yikes is the only thing I agree here and I'd add that to OP as well.Yikes, this is bad as a habs fan lol.
My more balanced offer that I would NOT do is
Caufield
Harris (supposedly doesn't want to play for us, UFA soon due to college loophole) otherwise Norlinder
1st 2022 (from Chiarot trade)
2nd 2023
Your well documented dislike of the Oilers notwithstanding, Broberg would probably be in such a deal. I doubt Holloway would be as well. The Oilers would be giving up their best LHD prospect but get a great player already in the NHL who plays the left D position. That fits more in their time line.

.A troll war? I think it’s a very valid point. If AZ is trading their best player whose 23 years old while in the midst of a rebuild and aren’t bringing back at least one first rounder then the offer is ridiculous. The idea that you’re getting a 1st for Chariot then flipping that pick as the prime asset for Chychrun is also highly unrealistic.
Personally, I don’t think Chychrun to MTL makes much sense at this point in time. MTL should keep their picks to build a foundation then look to add players when their further along.
And the OP was saying the 1st OA which isn't happening.
How is Broberg being there, but not Holloway beat this Habs offer? Considering that Harris and Norlinder are better prospects than probably any other Oilers prospect?
habs will compete in 3 to 5 years
if he was locked up for 8 years that would be different - still I wouldn't pay up for him - but he's got just 3 years after this one. Hence, way too soon for us.While this is true the Habs shouldn't pony up the cost based on the dirrection the team is heading, he's still not wrong for calling you on the UFA soon comment
My thinking was that you always start the re-tooling from the back, ...
