Still waiting on that captaincy announcement. Let's go already. Veteran here, Stands up for teammates, last off the ice every night, and winning us games...also could motivate him to stay at this level.

Kreider has simply never looked this good. He's going to have a career year, and he deserves it. He's obviously worked extremely hard on his net front deflections and that's paying dividends for us; he has to have at least 7 or 8 deflection/tip in goals already on the year.

Bread is already heating up, if Mika can do the same? We're gonna have a good time with Igor in net.

This is the difference between now and the Hank years; right now we have elite offensive players and Igor. That combination of elite offensive threats plus an elite goalie is something we haven't had in a very long time

Inevitable slow down comes... Kreider haters crawl out of their holes 'i tOlD yOu sOoO!' 'sOooO iNcOnSisTenT'

It's obvious he wont keep up this pace... It's a 60+ goal pace.

I think playing him on the PK is helping him stay involved in the game. I remember Quinn trying Kreider there early last year, but then abandoned it for some reason.

Concur. Let Fox keep doing Fox things without worrying about the weight of the C. Perhaps the C also gives Kreider the motivation to not take weeks at a time off.

. Good Point. His defense has improved dramatically and last year he showed he can be effective on the PK but didn’t get much time. This year is a different story and he has shown to be effective Again on the PK

. You’re not wrong. The second he cools down fans will be complaining again. I wish our fans could just enjoy what he brings to the table instead of being upset that he never became a “superstar “
