Kind of funny that we're in a timeline where there actually is a "frontrunner" for Ben Chiarot.

You must have meant Kravtsov OR Lundqvist.
If one of them was offered i think a deal would have already been done.
Chiarot going to St.Louis most people are saying. Rangers died down. Offer couldn't have been there.

Leafs getting a d-man from Arizona, for a first pick and Ritchie

Would love a LA 1st.

Heard that their prospect cupboard is pretty decent though too, anyone come to mind that would be a good fit?
Kings 1st is probably the best option that would be on the table - if it actually is of course, can’t see why they’d do it unless they think they’re actually a contender. I’d say their best prospects are untouchable in a deal for Chiarot and their lesser ones don’t really move the needle

A first for an unextended Chiarot is a gross overpayment.

2nd/3rd round pick, and a b level prospect is a lot more along the lines of what a deal should look like.

Do i read it right?

Toronto fans would rather start the playoffs against Tampa or Florida with a combo of Liljegren - Sandin and Dermott on their 3rd pair than pay a 1st for Chiarott ?
That's 1st round exit written in bold.

Sandin will be alright, but he's not ready. As Mtl fans, it was pure joyce to see him in the top 6 last year and he did cost Toronto.

Maybe Dubas doesn't have the autority to trade his first pick anymore. Likely gone after an other first round exit.
