Mike Vernon was dealt immediately after winning the Conn Smythe.makes no sense... When was the last time a Vezina trophy winner was traded right after winning it?

Are you really that gullible to believe that ? Flurry and his agent were fully aware of the teams and conversations taking place , remember he had a mntc which meant he needed to sign off on any trade deal.
If you believe in any other ridiculous narrative mentioned you're truly easy to pull the wool over .
Blackhawks pushing their chips in. It either works out or digs them deeper.
If it was leaked by someone unbeknowns to the organization, then no.Huh? It was obviously leaked from one of the two organizations, and if it was Vegas, a lot of shade is on them
How is that suppose to happen? If it was leaked by someone unbeknowns to the organization, then no.
Can't blame the whole organization for a single individual leaking info, if that is what happened. Sure, org looks bad for the leak. But often hard to keep a lid on these things. How is that suppose to happen?
Actually he didn't have to sign off on the deal because Chicago wasn't on his 10 team no trade list. Are you really that gullible to believe that ? He is north of 70 million earned. I would imagine he is just happy here he is geographically and is past the point in his career where he wants to uproot everything again. If he doesn't need to money, more reason to just stay put.He might as well play. Its alot of money. Worst case donate the year to charity if you dont need the money.

Who said anything about slaves ? These Multimillionaires whine about poor me. You're making millions of dollars a year playing a sport you love and in the end its each player who agrees to his contract and terms by signing it. He has been around long enough to understand its a business, plus he waived his mntc which he fully understood last year his time with vegas was nearing a end for many reasons.
Cry me a river he has to fulfill his final year of his contract with a team that has made every effort to win and welcome him with open arms and it was he who produced a list of teams he was willing to go to, The team kept him and his agent fully informed of the situation and conversations and teams involved, boo ho he isn't going back to Pittsburgh that's business. Act like a professional athlete and honor your contract or retire but his agent and himself look like whiny ungrateful children.
Nobody needs to see his inappropriate behavior and remarks made public show some class and dignity.
These players act like life is so hard please , each team especially the Hawks and its players do a tremendous job in making sure whatever a new addition needs its as seemingly easy and smooth.
I can assure you stan will treat him with respect and allow him any space needed but stan won't be bullied into a corner or deal with unnecessary drama.
The balls in MAF court play or retire but be a man and show some class and urgency to the organization that traded for you.
With what the Blackhawks org is going through right now, it's tough to feel bad for them. Sure, sucks for the fans. But it's hard to separate.Exactly. He is going to a major city, an Original 6 team with a great fan base, a team that is bringing in talent like Jones and Johnson to make a run at the Cup, and they want to pay him 6 million dollars to boot.
Yet everyone just wants to feel sorry for MAF and get in on the pity party. What about the Blackhawks and their fans?

Talk about unwarranted pity parties.Yet everyone just wants to feel sorry for MAF and get in on the pity party. What about the Blackhawks and their fans?
Well I take time away from my family to raise money who for those who aren't as fortunate as us. So yeah..... It doesn't have to be about hockey...it could be about his salary going towards a local hospital. But of course you do realize that right? You do realize there's more to life than hockey and money, right? He has a family - he's a competitor but he may prioritize his family first and hockey second.

Hot take here, but could it be the city is actual warzone and not a great place to bring your family? With what the Blackhawks org is going through right now, it's tough to feel bad for them. Sure, sucks for the fans. But it's hard to separate.
MAF found out about the trade on twitter, and you somehow think he accepted this trade? If that was the case, why accept the trade?

Whether that's true or not, I'm not joining in here, this is where conversations go to die.Hot take here, but could it be the city is actual warzone and not a great place to bring your family?
You're right that he knew his contractual obligations. Doesn't change the fact the team should have shown him a little more respect for what's he brought to that franchise and said hey here's what going on.MAF at this point fully understood his contractual obligations and opened the door on his mntc , Chicago was a team he agreed to by not listing them as a no trade to. Many speculated he would be gone last summer with lehner going to Vegas.
He is acting like a child boo hoo he found out on Twitter, he and his agent were fully aware of the teams involved, conversations. As well as each teams and market goalie and cap situation. He makes 7 million dollars a year playing a sport he obviously loves. Sure he loves vegas but it's also a business and just like players have certain protections so do teams , vegas isn't looking to satisfy MAF needs , it's a financial situation and chicago unlike Pittsburgh offered vegas a better deal. Pittsburgh was and is a pipe dream fantasy cooked up by hacks online gaslighting everyone into believing Pittsburgh could actually make the deal happen. Vegas needed cap relief by moving out the full contract. Pittsburgh doesn't have a extra 7 million in open cap space just for MAF , even to try and move players takes time and still leaves Pittsburgh in need of cap space and quality p.ayers to fill those holes created.
It's time for MAF to put up or shut up and retire .
