obvious We were not going for a major rebuild........this is fast retool that can be ready in two to three years
Ready for what in 3 years?
The Sedins retire and this team is a dumpster fire

From what I've read, the reason behind his stats dropping is because a lack of motivation because he realized Chicago has ridiculous depth on the right side and other prospects had passed him this year. That shouldn't be a problem here in Vancouver to say the least lol
Hamhuis Clendening
Edler Corrado
Sbisa Tanev
yep it would be great to develop own players but clearly we not going to wait 5 years for Forsling to develop.......the goal is to win now not 5 years later
Edler and Tanev will never be split.
I really like this trade, but man, seriously **** the Hawks where a player like Clendenning is expendable. Rock solid AHL production and only 22 years old.
If they were such great pieces or showed true promise, they wouldn't be dumped off.So it's becoming clear how benning want to build this team. He is trying to fill in the year gaps that we have in age groups, with players who have already been in development systems for awhile.
Linden Vey is another good example of this.

****, I really liked Forsling. Chicago probably scouted him as a promising prospect and sold high on Clendening.
2014 draft looks even worse now.
Hamhuis Clendening
Edler Corrado
Sbisa Tanev
Obviously Clendening is the better player now, and possibly in the future as well...But I'd really like us to keep our prospects/picks, especially when they look to be a steal.
Edler-Tanev
Hamhuis-Clendenning
Sbsia/Weber/Stanton-Corrado
That's what I want to see.
they were split at practice today but I'll take your word for it.

Can I have a gold star for trying?

wow pretty sad that a player who's not even top 2 in Rockford is top 2 in Canucks defense pairing.
