I was also expecting 2-3 games, I never trust DOPS when it comes to the Bruins.

Should have been 3. He got the match penalty with the automatic game then 2 more since OEL wasn't hurt and it was clear he was selling it on the ice to draw the call.

That's fair. I always feel like DOPS always goes low on number of games.

Agreed. Completely undisciplined play by McAvoy. And not his style, he plays a physical game but he’s not dirty. I’d expect this won’t become a habit for him. Glad to hear Larsson is ok, that could’ve ended much worse.

When you make a hit like that, you get what you get. We can bitch about the DOPS but they didn’t make the unnecessary hit.
