So he’s basically gone for maybe 8-10 games. Think back to the longer suspensions say Marchand got and how he was when he returned. I don’t mean the one game suspensions. You don’t just get right back into the groove. He will not be sharp for the first bunch of games back. Not good.

I thought maybe two, probably three

the video is pretty clear he leads with his shoulder to the opponents head and the puck was no where close.....just not a smart play and while as a Bs fan I don't like the call as a hockey fan I have a hard time arguing the length of suspension

now let's see what DOPS does going forward with similar hits

Thought it was a little too much. It’s not like Charlie is a known offender. Not surprised though with a Hab as the head it will always be on the higher side.

i have little problem with the hit if OEL has the puck - yeah he hits him in the chin, and he's probably getting 1 game.
just didn't make any sense to just plow the guy at that point. didn't have the puck. 3rd period of a tie game. poor
decision. plus it was OEL who wasn't even on the panthers last year. maybe chuckie was playing pissed off due to
how last year ended, but if you're gonna run a guy, run tkachuk or bennett, who kicked your ass.

Yes once, but he is not known as a dirty player. Just Parros has a tendency to see things with Hab glasses, he’s always been a bit soft on players like Subban
I think you’d be surprised, he’s done a few greasy things - other fanbases seem to think he’s got some dirtball in him.

I thought he made two bad hits in that game last night, both targeting the head.

Mac is chippy, but isn’t close to the level with Marchand or Mr slewfoot

Parros is an American who played all of 22 games for Montreal.

Marchand is Mr. Slewfoot, no?

Parros is a US born player who played less than 5% of his career games with the Habs.

Subban was way worse and had more slewfooting issues. Marchy was more a Neapolitan ice cream of offenses. Ha

Parros was a teammate of Subban, and they played some tough games against the Bs. He has definitely been lite on Subban who was a repeat offender.

Subban was worse. He could be the former Mr. Slewfoot. Marchy is still the current one.

22 games for Montreal makes it a real stretch to make the Subban connection.

I’m sorry is there a right amount of games before you claim a connection. I just want to know in the future, 30 games, 1 year? Lol. I just remember a few years ago fans, not Bruins fans, were ripping Parros for being lite on Subban for yet another slewfoot. So it wasn’t a Bruins thing, think it was when he was with NJ.

Anyways I only think it’s one game too high for Mac, but expected it on the higher side with Parros. He hasn’t been extremely consistent.

I was guessing 3 games cause I thought the hit was worse then what Cliffy did to get 2 game, but not quite as malicious as the Rasmus Andersson hit that got him 4 games. Regardless it was an awful hit and this is a deserved suspension. Luckily outside of the leafs the next 4 games aren't too bad.
