This team is just frustratingly inconsistent, part of that is coaching and part is on the players. They can't bring back the same team again next year, Tatum and Brogdon are the only ones I would not consider trading.

Couldn’t cancel my fansedge order so I’ll be throwing the Celtics jersey I bought my wife in the trash and the onesies for baby in the diaper pail.

When does the “is TD Garden cursed?” thread launch, @Fenway?

The Celtics are a playground team and not coachable.

The 3 point shot changed the game and maybe it needs to be looked at again.

What a joke to suggest they are uncoachable.

They are coachable they just need someone who has experience who isn’t trying to be their friend.

What a terrible hot take

Either trade Brown & Smart or keep Brown, trade Smart & get another star somehow. As pissed as I am, you can't blow it up.

Next season learn how to beat a zone defence when you can't make a 3.

You guys having to do this after the Bruins is tough. That extra cruel.
The thing about being a Celtics fan is that we are used to them not playing to their potential.

This is great compared to what it was like in the 90's and early 2000's. That was a dark time.

I used to be obsessed with the Celtics. I just loved everything about Larry Bird and then Reggie Lewis. After Reggie passed, it was Dee Brown.

Funny thing is that I absolutely hated Paul Pierce at first and then after he got stabbed, I realized just how good he was and how lucky we were to have him. Needless to say, Paul is one of my favorite C's ever.

This team was dead in the water and found a way to come back. I take that fight as a positive but the complete no show last night is just puzzling and it is easy to point to the coach and Jaylen Brown but it is more than just them.

Brad Stevens has a lot of work to do this offseason. I look forward to seeing how it shakes out and look forward to October.

Do legit, talented, seven foot centers exist anymore? Or are they impossible to find? The C's could use a better option down low to go with Robert Williams. Also love love love Derrick White. Other than those two and Tatum, time to change the mix.

pretty sure ime coached them to within minutes of being up 3-1 on the best team the league has seen since the 2000s lakers. they weren’t going to win with tatum on one ankle and brogdon hurt. if they did somehow pull it off they would’ve been swept by denver with tatum hobbling around.

This teams whole make up of shooting a many 3 as you can in a game isn't going to work long term. When you are shooting as bad as they where, there is no other option. No low post game or mid range game. They could of drove the paint all first half but they kept chucking 3 after 3.

Still would have been nice to see Jaylen step up instead of collapsing.

This group is gonna get one more run together, then if they still don't win I believe they will move Jaylen.

Unfortunately I think the bolded is true. I hope it isn’t, I think they need a new mix of players. Brown and Smart have now played over 100 playoff games, and Tatum is close to 100. That’s a big enough sample size to go on in my opinion. I would try to move Smart first, as I don’t think there would be an enticing enough package to move Brown.

RW needs to develop a consistent shot below the rim

If the Blazers trade Lillard it would be them tearing the team down. Any two of Smart, Brogdon and White with a Danilo Gallinari opt in matches Lillard's salary, then you have six first round picks to trade.

You have 3 maybe 4 first round picks you can trade (24, 26, 30) . I think 28 is tied up. If Portland decides to blow it up and trade Dame, does 3 firsts, and salary cap filer end up being the best offer they get?

Yes - they just don’t go inside enough

Brogden injury killed them - that’s his game

Mazzulla is young and don’t forget first guy Ainge asked to speak to was him when he went to Utah

Mazzulla will be fine - smart guy made mistakes but so did Ted Lasso and tomorrow we find out if he won Premier League

I keep Joe and try and find a Kevin McHale type to play the 4 who can get you 20/10 be an outstanding defender and offensive presence and rebound-machine inside

All they really need

How are you going to get this Hall of Fame PF you say they need?

Maybe ATL will give you John Collins, probably about as close to what you want as you might get. Maybe something around Smart for Collins
