Texas plays against Jack Campbell tonight. Oilers apparently might call him back up this week, would be so funny if Texas lit him up tonight and changed the Oilers plans
 
And 36 seconds into the game Campbell gives up a really weak goal. Blumel with a weak shot from distance gets through, no screen. 1-0 Texas
 
Stranges is the healthy scratch tonight for Texas. Wheatcroft back in. Stranges wasn't the best from what I watched last game but he deserves a longer leash imo. Not a fan of that decision. As expected the 2nd PP unit is nothing without him

One thing Texas won't miss about Bichsel are his penalties. Just took a minor penalty
 
Reedy ties the game for Texas right after the penalty expires. 2-2

Weak goal on Matt Murray now...puck drops out of his glove and rolls across the goalie line between his legs while he's standing there. 3-2
 
Btw, Bichsel picked up the primary assist on the Reedy goal earlier. Puck deflected off his stick I suppose to Reedy. Tough to see



No points for Stankoven or Bourque yet. Their 8-game point streaks are on the line. 1 more period to go

I'm in Texas and have never seen one in person, had never heard of it until maybe a few years ago, now everyone is jabbering about it every day.
 
Texas has been in a lot of penalty trouble tonight. 5 penalties. Bakersfield just scored. Bourgault centering pass deflected off Bichsel and in. 5-3
 
Texas pulls to within 1. With 7 minutes to go

Another really weak goal from distance on Campbell lol. Stankoven gets an assist on that one, and his point streak will continue

Appears Kyle McDonald got injured at some point this period or late last period. He's not on the Stars bench

That's Bichsel's last game with Texas until the end of this season basically. He finishes this stint with 7 points (1 goal) in 16 games. Also 34 penalty minutes

Texas plays again December 8th at 7:00pm CT.

I've stanned for Bichsel but woof - his last week with Texas was his least memorable stretch of hockey all season.
