Nobody answered my question from a few days ago regarding the highlights of Dolzhenkov scoring two goals. What tournament was that from seeing how Russia has been barred from competing in any of the more well known events?
That picture is activating my gag reflex
He'd have to really blow them away Id imagine. Its incredible what that year in Regina did for him. Not only did he put up the numbers he was option 2 on a team and playing major minutes on a team that plays a lot of games. I dont know if that makes him ready for an NHL season yet but hes already closer than I expected at this time.
Gets interesting in 2 years if they do add another LD and you have Mateychuk and Svozil competing for the same job
I go to Calvert more than the other as he has more a “Watch me get under your skin” attitude when I’ve watched him in exhibitions.Yes, but lots of people see our small later picks and immediately jump to Calvert or Atkinson as a comparable. When the more likely comparable is Abramov, T F-W, or Tynan.
Or any of the thousands of NHL players who haven't played for the Jackets.Yes, but lots of people see our small later picks and immediately jump to Calvert or Atkinson as a comparable. When the more likely comparable is Abramov, T F-W, or Tynan.
While the blasts are great, I was impressed with the way he QB'd the Power Play distributing the puck as the unit looked for the open opportunity to score. He never forced a shot (in the highlights).Love those one-timers. There's barely any traffic in that fifth goal, goalie sees it all, innocent looking play... and he just blasts it in.
Hopefully he's fully healthy and impresses even more next season.
Oh damn, thanks for the reminderMemorial Cup Final can be found on YouTube for non Canadians
I hope if he ever plays on a line with Marchenko that someone on that line knows how to pass.No assists all tournament, hes so bad at finding his teammates theyll have to hand him the trophy last
Congrats to the kid, great showing all tournament. I knew he could skate but didnt realize it was that much of a strength
Malatesta-Jenner-MarchenkoI hope if he ever plays on a line with Marchenko that someone on that line knows how to pass.
