Dumais ended the regular season with the 4th-highest PPG average in the Q since '04-'05.

Haven't watched WHL playoffs but based on clips and stats Svozil really seems to be giving his best for the Pats postseason run. 3G 3A and +9 in less than 3gp. Love to see strong plays on the board like the one below from tonight, hopefully he's able to do that against AHL guys next year...

Edit: Pats blew their chance to take 3-0 series lead with giving up the GTG in the final 30 seconds of regulation and then losing in OT.... Svozil's poke check attempt fails in a critical moment which enables Sidorov to pull puck to the crease and score the game winner:

bad 1st shift for Svozil, coughed up the puck avoiding contact. Pretty physical since. Noticed he double shifts lots and has multiple partners

And of course my son makes us leave less than 2 minutes before Bedard scores. Fairly low event game. Bedard looks gassed between shifts and is fairly low effort defensively but is giving it was he has offensively. Such a terrible team he has to carry. Svozil wasnt the biggest standout positive or negative. Good job moving the puck, laid a few solid hits but took himself out of position in a dangerous area to throw his 2nd bigger hit

Svozil with a nice shot-pass assist on the third goal.

you must not have a toddler at home, it can go south quick

I think mcdavid was too for a few years. He’ll have to learn and give more effort when he gets here
Its more like Kane in Chicago where he has to take care of everything offensively so he has to pick his spots or he'll gas out hard. I dont think its something he has to learn, just needs to be on a team with support.

Its kind of funny how much Bedard talks. I dont think he says much because noone reacts but a couple times after the play he would coast down to the Saskatoon end and say something to the goalie. Im assuming along the lines of its coming or almost had you. Fast forward a bit and he has a couple goals

Nice for Voronkov to get that high level experience and be a difference maker (hopefully they advance to the finals, they're leading 3-1 now and the next game is on Sunday 9th of April).

Also great that he won't be coming over for this season to ruin the tank lol.

Same story in Regina. Bedard assisting on both goals, think I saw something saying Bedard has factored in on 75% on Regina's goals before tonight. Svozil also 2 assists on the night, almost 2PPG in the playoffs

If they once again manage to choke their lead Svozil should be heading to Cleveland very soon I would think?
Yeah probably but I dont know if they are done yet, should be going up 2. They called a goal, took if back for kicking motion and now reviewing it again after Regina flipped out because it looks like it hit a stick. Lengthy review

Edit: Never seen a goal be called goal - no goal - goal before or see a play be reviewed twice like that. They got it right though

He never was coming this year. His contact ends in May and with no agreement with Russian hockey he wasn't eligible until next year. Just FYI.

Right, I guess the talk was that he'll come over after his contract ends in May, to prepare for the offseason/next season? We'll take that.

Svozil scores with 6:50 left in the 3rd to get Regina back into the game. Not his best game but pretty active, would be very interested to see the top players ice time this game
