The Jackets probably get the best player in the deal, and if the return to Philly is any indication, didn't give up a lot. But why pay to retain when they have tons of cap space? For the Kings, the retention is strange when half their team is a free agent this summer and next summer. No clue what the Flyers are doing, surely they could get a better return than that?
