This team can't develop forwards... they just can't.

@Amazing Kreiderman nailed it in the Chytil thread (I don't know how to quote from other threads or I would)

It's sad really... Chytil & Laf are just dying on the vine... Kakko should be light years ahead of where he is. Don't even need to get started on Kravtsov & Andersson.

This org better do something and fast or they're going to completely waste a #2 & #1 overall and then some.

Maybe I’m not seeing the Miller you all are- I think he’s been better this season than last which is the bar I typically set for young players.

I get it, but can we just sit back enjoy where this team is? No one is saying they are a shoe-in for the Cup.

We were hoping for a playoff berth and it looks like they’ve already achieved that before Christmas. Id be happy to see a round or two when it wasn’t expected.

More concerned about seeing improvements from the young building blocks than anything else right now

I’m not gonna enjoy this team being anywhere until they can beat the best teams in this league with regularity. Otherwise what’s the point? I’m not gonna celebrate mediocrity.

Yup Igor going down for a few weeks may have been a blessing in disguise. Would benefit Igor, Georgiev and the Rangers if we’re able to trade Georgiev for a veteran backup plus a decent pick after his recent play

Not just a kid fighting for a chance but a line driver. Really happy to see considering he's still young as hell and like 6 years away from his prime.

He's fun to watch now, but I can only imagine the treat we're in for when he's 25+

If NHL players go to the Olympics, really hoping he gets picked by Finland. Would love to see him in a best on best international tournament after his showings in world juniors and world championships. Seems like he’s valued by the national team very highly and may get a chance as a potential core piece in the future

summed up the game for me. some are upset about not getting shots in the third, but IDC about that since Vegas was allowed to hold, hook, and interfere with all of our players that whole period.

There really is a special rulebook for the Knights. Not the first time I've seen this from the refs in games involving Vegas (like the series against the Avs and Habs last season).

I think Kakko would be on the fence of making it or not. Based on his NHL performance so far it's debatable, but being a big part of the 2019 WC team helps a lot. Pretty sure Jalonen likes to pick guys he knows if he has the ability to choose from a wide pool (as Finland does with forwards).

Two Finnish hockey journalists recently did a mock roster, both had him on the team. The other as 13th/14th forward, the other in the 3rd line with Hintz and Rantanen.

So they can develop goalies and defensemen but not forwards?? Laf will be there soon...Filip needs to be more physical..I watched him last night and he is soft on the boards. I would do one thing to him if I was GG...put him in front of a video of Reeves and Hunt finishing checks then watch what happens to the rest of his game. He is a spectator more times than not.

Who need opposing fans when you have fans that dislike their own team so much they spend all their time being critical of everything they do instead of being supportive.

Nobody is allowed to be critical of this team’s obvious flaws, must be all positive all the time, stick head in sand and pretend everything is ok at all times.

I believe that’s called fascism

Yes I believe that’s what he was saying. The rangers haven’t drafted a developed a 60 point forward since Sather took over. This isn’t anything new.

You're being a bit unreasonable. The point that others have made is that you're awfully quiet when the team is playing well, but when there is something to point the finger at you're very vocal. That kind of pattern speaks to an agenda.

Anyway: Since you're unaware of what facism is and use it as an argument when you receive criticism I'm not going to spend any more time on this since you're not someone I'd label reasonable or level headed. Have a happy christmas.
