Confirmed that he is indeed an Islander Fan
And your team is measured against who you can beat and who you cannot. You play whoever is on your schedule
You care way too much about a random guy on the internet but hey I'm happy I can fill in a part of your life that's missing! You're welcome! That would explain him being a douche.
Go clap some cheeks bro. Don’t you have someone in real life to play with your ding aling instead of complaining about the team when they played well enough to win and are 1st in the league? Don’t be a momoIt's cool, I still get to reply to your posts pointing out how dumb they are regardless.
They didn't play well enough to win - they had 2 shots in the third period and lost in a shootout. If you think getting two shots in the third period is "good enough to win" then you've never watched a game of hockey before.Go clap some cheeks bro. I don't consider beating up on the bad teams in the league success, but hey that's me.Mazel tov. You’ve joined the rest of us that recognize this team isn’t a contender. Let’s enjoy their unexpected early success and see where things go from here.

Personally I find reality a lot more thrilling than fantasy land.Thank goodness for your perspective, I was afraid I was having too much fun.

They also aren't first in the league, so there's that too.
But hey, don't let those facts get in the way of your vulgarities cool guy!

Yeah, I'm miserable because my favorite team has one cup in 80 years and counting. I know that pointing out the teams gigantic flaws is not allowed on this board but that is part and parcel of being a Rangers fan. If you're not miserable about this team, are you even REALLY a fan?Thrilling? You seem miserable. And over something none of us have control over.
Yeah the good teams also beat the other good teams though, and that's the difference. You realize all good teams do this, right?
There is no option to play only good teams.
Unless you are 80 years old, this should be irrelevant to your happiness.Yeah, I'm miserable because my favorite team has one cup in 80 years and counting.

You see that, right?
Do you think a team that can't beat the good teams in the regular season is going to beat them in the playoffs? You know Chicago, LA, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay have all lost games, right? Like..multiple games. Even double digit losses in a single season. And they they even went on to make the playoffs. And then they even lost in the playoffs! And then they got to the Stanley Cup Finals. And then they EVEN LOST THEN! But then they still won later.
It's not about the wins and losses man. I really don't understand the consternation towards @TheBloodyNine. I get he's antagonizing a bit but I don't see how people can be pleased with the way this team has played at even strength, I just can't. They aren't even a positive goal differential at 5v5, never mind corsi and expected goals where they are at the bottom of the league, and this is with the best goaltending in the NHL. I don't begrudge people for being happy when they win, but the complaining about other people not being satisfied with the way the Rangers are playing is ridiculous. Have we learned nothing from the past? I want this team to win and it's less likely that they do if they are not a good 5v5 team it's that simple. You know Chicago, LA, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay have all lost games, right? I know it's crazy, but this team is capable of winning another game. They won't all die and shrivel up. It's okay, the sun will rise tomorrow, I promise.
