This is sadly very true and if one is single and in the dating world, it is prudent to take this into consideration when attempting to form an intimate/romantic relationship with a woman. In my younger years I had a blind spot but in my later years came to understand how many women have experienced sexual abuse in some form in their lifetimes. Some have been open and honest with me....others I suspect they harbored trauma and they usually project it in damaging ways....intimacy issues, bipolarism, etc. It really sucks..

Personality disorders the result of some trauma are no joke to contend with and it is best for such people albeit through no real fault of their own to either be honest with the people they are trying to form relationships with or seek personal healing first to avoid being toxic emotional vampires. The people I feel most saddened for are people who are the victims of child abuse. The victimizers have a special place in hell waiting for them.
