Vasi is rocking a 4.22 with an .853....not sure we should be concerned that much.it's from 1 game. gonna take a few good games to recover his numbers from a 6 GA performance.

Bunting gives me loose cannon vibes. Who do you take out for him? Knies has been one of our best forwards. This series is about to get way more intense when Bunting returns by game 5.
One of our best ... accept for the full lines ahead of him.Bunting gives me loose cannon vibes. Who do you take out for him? Knies has been one of our best forwards.
It's Hedman that we should be worried about. You take him off that team and every game is a blowout win for us. Need more headshots.Vasi is rocking a 4.22 with an .853....not sure we should be concerned that much.
Deserve’s got nothing to do with it.
Maybe...but maybe this game broke their spirit and buoyed ours.
The John Brophy school of thought...I like it. They would be doing it to us on every shift if we had a guy semi-lame.It's Hedman that we should be worried about. You take him off that team and every game is a blowout win for us. Need more headshots.
I agree. On the one hand, he gets suspended and takes penalties. On the other, he also causes penalties and can score. Knies needs to stay on the roster. Someone else will have to move out.Bunting gives me loose cannon vibes. Who do you take out for him? Knies has been one of our best forwards.
1st goal was just a defensive breakdown and if you give someone like Cirelli a chance from there he's gonna bury it a majority of the times. 2nd goal he was bad on and made a bad read leading to him being out of position. 3rd goal was a shot from the inner hash and placed perfectly in the top left corner. McCabe played the body behind the net but didn't hit him good enough to stop his momentum or to pin him against the boards and allowed him to come out like that.Yeah but even last night, even in a 36 save performance, you can make a legitimate case he should have had 2 of the 3, maybe even all 3.
He's been off all series

Yeah... That felt like a junior high fight where the small weak friend was acting tough while his bigger friend picked a fight. How old is he? "He's irrelevant! Holy fu$%!" Notice how Hagel stopped there... Couldn't come with any evidence of Jeanott being relevant. There was a lot of "hold me back" energy coming from Hagel there on that exchange with Luke as well. He's like a small yappy dog barking at the mailman behind the safety of a screen door.
I mean Drai got a call for tapping a guy the other night. The refs call whatever they want.I wanna know when a team has ever been able to slash a goalies stick out of their hands like TB has done twice now without a call being made, or doing what Kucherov has done like 2 or 3 times by intentionally poking at the goalie when the play is blown dead or nowhere near the net? I feel like if we tried that we're in the box easily and everybody says it's an obvious penalty.
Man I know They won last night but I'm getting concerned about Samsonov.
3.70 GAA
878 save%
That's got to get better.
The 4th line has been pretty lackluster compared to Tampa's 4th line, largely because Lafferty is brutal. I'd be happy to have Bunting in over LaffertyBunting gives me loose cannon vibes. Who do you take out for him? Knies has been one of our best forwards.
Lafferty's speed and physical play has been pretty evident out there, and ZAR scored. Both are 0 in plus minus column... They've done their jobs.I say don't take out the player we're 5-0 with. Lafferty probably sits is my guess. Or ZAR.

Just dump the puck in his corner and force him to turn at speed, and chase. It's Hedman that we should be worried about. You take him off that team and every game is a blowout win for us. Need more headshots.
Kerfoot out.I agree. On the one hand, he gets suspended and takes penalties. On the other, he also causes penalties and can score. Knies needs to stay on the roster. Someone else will have to move out.
Pretty much what I was thinking.Kerfoot out.
Aston-Reese is hard for me to part ways with because he has been such a solid bottom 6 player. Gritty and can score the odd goal here and there. Kerfoot or Lafferty I would be okay with.Lafferty or Zach-Astron-Reese seem like the clear choices to come out for Bunting.
Bunting is a 50-60+ point player who's had chemistry on our first line. I don't know how keeping him out of the lineup over players like Lafferty or ZAR make us better.
Bunting is our highest scoring player outside of the core 4.
One of our best ... accept for the full lines ahead of him.
So really, he's just been one of our forwards is what you're trying to say.
Also, and mostly, because Leafs didn't physically back down or mentally fold. Tampa gave it their all: miserable, referee-approved violence, and Leafs stood their ground. A win is a win on many levels here.the only reason leafs won night was samsonov. tampa outshot, outchanced teh leafs last night
I disagree, Kerfoot has actually done well when put on the fourth line. Lafferty is the obvious subtraction, he does noting from a play driving standpoint.Pretty much what I was thinking.
