I’m hoping you’re right. Spezza was supposed to be that but they had a hard time grasping it. Unfortunately Spezza was at the end while ROR can do that and play a top 6 role at the same time. So talk the talk and back it up. I like a continued top 6 of Matthews/Marner and ROR/Knies for the future. Let’s see what they can do.

If you actually looked at the games it seem Vas is having difficulty picking up pucks from distance. Holl rings it off the post, mariner has scored from distance and well as Reily. Refs were doing everything they could to put the leafs at a disadvantage, They played the perfect rope a dope game and won. Be happy, ugly wins are still a win. Ugly wives make great wives.

The story of Keefe offering him an A to wear for one of the last games and ROR answering, "I don't need a letter" and then just showing it shift after shift.
This team is seeing what a con Smythe winner looks like.

Sergachev is a nice offensive piece and all, but he doesn't bring the grit and defensive capabilities McDonagh has. Tampa fans mocked me for saying it was a crucial loss and the biggest reason why the Leafs will have the advantage this year. 3 games in, it is so noticeable.

Why even call yourself a Leafs fan if you can't be happy with anything they do? This is literally a top 3 team in the league and all you care about is nonsense. You're grasping at straws to find something to whine about.

Teams have bad games. Good teams win games they don't deserve to. Guess what Toronto did yesterday?

If you're always this pessimistic and angry I suggest you see a therapist. The Leafs won a critical game and you're crying about semantics.

I’ve always been a big fan of ROR and wanted him back in the day. Glad he’s on board.

Keefe needs to show this video to the team and say we need to embellish like Tampa. Show the video of point pretending to die and gliding to open ice before faking his death so the referees can't miss it.

Tampa got a 5 min powerplay and suspension out of it, the Leafs got nothing because McCabe got up and started playing hockey.

Not even 10 lol maybe 5 or 6. That 2nd period was the worst hockey I’ve seen this group play probably since they’ve been drafted.

By the way…. F Brayden Point. At first I thought he was seriously injured, but seeing glide to open ice and then collapse like he got shot so everyone can see is exactly why TB are a disgusting team. The embellishment they show is out of this world.
