This is awesome. They need to put this on the jumbo monitor in Toronto.Well done Mr. Point.
Yup.Dude they just know their "veteran tricks"
Leaf player does something like that it it's a stupid penalty for a stupid player who costs his team.
Notice the common trend with a lot of these dumb buzz phrases like "playoff hockey?
This is so bang on. You can tell through parts of the third and OT that we were a bit tentative in our forecheck for fear that we were going to get a cheap call against us. On the other hand, Tampa got the message that they could do whatever they wanted and be able to get away with it. Bush league reffing again.
Good on Dubas. I just earned a little respect from the guy. If that was Toronto the NHL and Buttman would be holding a presser at the state of Leafs fans. bring it home boys.
I though it was a nasty hit but it looked like when he got back up, he dropped his glove, picked up his glove and then proceeded to travel down the crocodile mile. This is awesome. They need to put this on the jumbo monitor in Toronto.
Imagine this, their are Tampa fans who seriously believe the refs favoured Toronto that game.![]()

Of course, why should they think otherwise when their team got away with Stamkos crosschecking a prone Rielly and then jumping Matthews, Kucherov jumping both Rielly and O'Rielly, and Maroon checking McCabe into the boards with a dirty hit from behind right on the numbers.Imagine this, their are Tampa fans who seriously believe the refs favoured Toronto that game.![]()

Agreed, he has to be better. When he's in a defensive role or we're hemmed in our own end we might as well be a man short he's that worthless. He has to be better or he's going to end up costing us big.Nylander was god awful defensively this game, it doesn't get stated enough. First goal was all on his lazy backcheck and the 3rd goal he didn't even react when the goalscorer entered his zone on the ice, no pressure at all.
Yeah, he factored in on the game tying goal but at what cost.. they need to staple him to ROR or Matthews.
By the way…. F Brayden Point. At first I thought he was seriously injured, but seeing glide to open ice and then collapse like he got shot so everyone can see is exactly why TB are a disgusting team. The embellishment they show is out of this world.
The way Point fell to the ice, it was as if he was struck by the Eye of Sauron itself.
I legit do not think there is a team in the entire league that I would cheer for the Bolts over. Like easily my most hated team in the league and it isn't even remotely close. f*** everything about that entire organization from top to bottom.
No, Nylander played 14:27 with Tavares at 5v5, and was a key part of both goals against. You can't just blame Tavares every time Nylander does something wrong.
He played 1:13 on a line with O'Rielly and Knies at 5v5, and got outshot and outchanced, but Rielly scored a goal off a faceoff win by O'Rielly, where Nylander did absolutely nothing. You can't just credit Nylander every time somebody else does something right.
Marner leads the playoffs in points.I love when people do impressions of drunken clowns.
Hilarious. you got another impression?
Trying to remember the last time we won a game like this when we out-goalie the opposition and score clutch goals to win.Get out played on win the game? I'm all for it. About time we're on this end. Instead of outshooting a team 14-1 in OT and lose the game
I wouldn't give him too much credit. My wife, who knows very little about hockey, even noticed himI've got to give credit to Keefe. He sees that we have something special in Knies. This is a kid who has had maybe one full practice with the team and he's on the ice in the last minute on the 6 on 5 and on the ice for the OT goal. Keefe also tried him out with Matthews and Marner. Keefe sees the things we see. Knies is not only a big body, but he has nifty puck skills, That move in the dying seconds of the 2nd period was elite. The confidence this kid has is off the charts to be doing these things in a pressure packed playoff against an elite experienced team.
One of these hits is just "playoff hockey" with no penalty, the other was a dangerous hit from behind that 5 + a game, and a suspension.
So much salt around HfBoards today.
You love to see it.
Haters in tears all over!
