If that's not instigating, while basically telling the ref you're going to do it as payback, I don't know what is.

Keefe was mad because they called the 5 minute, said no penalty after review, but still gave Rielly 2 minutes since apparently you can't call a 5 and then do 0. Not sure if Keefe was expecting a 5on3 or just wanted to have Rielly available for the pp. That pp was beyond terrible so it might have been just having him available.

I don't like to rag on the core, I know they are under a lot of pressure but they are PPG because of that skewed game 2. They have to come up big when it counts.

I personally think all of Nylander's points have been money, especially when Tampa gained some momentum in game 2 and he flew into their zone right after to help JT ice it. Obviously his assist today was clutch.

Stamkos doing what he did makes sense, the refs calling the altercation a “fight” and giving even 5 minutes is asinine.

Yeah Jeffler has never had a very good grasp on the game. The Leafs were never getting more than a pp there, Tampa had pretty much a free pass.
Stamkos knew that, it’s why he took Matthews off the ice.

Absolutely should have, Kucherov and Stamkos both should have sat alone in the box. Matthews gets 5 for getting sucker punched. Rielly got 2 mintues for being stronger than Point.

Real shit, Stamkos should have got a double minor on that play that was ridiculous. Just imagining what would happen if our guy just started pummeling Kucherov while he isn't looking and has his gloves on.
