I was watching Canada at the WJC and thinking that Cristall might not be helping them next year either because he might be in the NHL already. He could get a spot if he's anywhere close to being ready because god knows how desperate we are for some creativity on the PP.

I don't know how he did it, maybe the WHL wanted him to extend his point streak... Because he wasn't the one who draw the penalty, he passed to his teammate, created a breakaway, then opponent took down his teammate, but the ref let him take the penalty shot and he scored.

Bruins fan here in peace. That was beautiful to see in person. Leonard got a call to the box because of it but all game he was chippy trying to get under the skin of Merrimack. You guys definitely got a good one

I normally despise penalties like that but in this case, I actually just started laughing because Leonard is just such a lunatic. I know Merrimack scored on the resulting PP but it was such a good example of how into the game he gets. His wires crossed and he just started screaming in the goalie’s face. He’s the type of player you’ll never have to worry about playing hard or not have a good motor for a game. He’s just very fun to watch

There was a big scrum before he scored in the crease. The goalie tackled a BC guy and they went on the PP. Lenny scored on the PP and taunted the goalie. He had reason. Very Elvis like moment. lol
