Damn totally forgot about the game tonight. Looks like he had a goal and an assist. That team is loaded.
That BC team seems like one they're going to be talking about in NCAA circles for a while, especially if all of the Freshman line turn out to be big time NHL players.

I'm not saying he's the same or anything because they obviously they had different draft profiles entirely (as in Leonard was never even considered 1st overall)... but when we look at NHL projection and the best case for Ryan Leonard could he maybe be what Gabriel Landeskog ended up being for the Avs? Gritty and greasy, the guy who does the dirty work on his line, but also skilled, good for maybe 50+ points in a regular year and 70+ if it all clicks just right?

Like... I know Landeskog was a potential first overall pick, but when he got to the NHL he kind of just showed that he's a really good support power forward but not exactly someone who carries the entirety of the play

So not that he'll hit the ground running right away but can Leonard hit that peak? Do we see him closer to Wilson, Oshie, or Landeskog for the point of this exercise?

Looking at the season stats so far (not sure if it includes the game tonight) but he leads the team in plus minus at +19 and in penalty minutes. 14 goals and 17 assists
