I'd like Carbery but if he goes to a destination like that it's still a domino or piece off the board or whatever metaphor you'd use. Makes the Halpern market more manageable I'd think
I'd much rather have Carbery than Halpern. I'd also take Brunette or Vellucci over Halpy. Would rather have the guys like Laviolette and Gallant serve as the dominoes, or just get Carbery first.

Cut and paste, the balanced team with the full package goalie and a number of young players to fix is up there on destinations. They’d be hardcore idiots to give those keys to Laviolette and just let Gallant go so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Capitals are picking up the second or third option, whoever it is

Rangers job is clearly the best right now, They are pretty must set up for a good run next season.
Ducks are prolly a better job then us right now... They have some good young players and the 2nd overall pick. We have an owner forcing the new coach to play 8 and 19 top mins for at least 2 more seasons.

Nope, and it's gross that they're already considering his return. Kind of bananas that it comes right on the heels of the Chicago lottery too, league really not doing themselves any favors on the optics of their punishment
Only a small fraction of fans still harbor the outrage….people are over it, the league will just move on….

On top of not reporting the incident when he heard about it and allegedly helping to keep it quiet, he wrote a letter of recommendation for the guy! He actually wrote a letter of recommendation for a guy he knew assaulted one of his players which allowed him to get another job in hockey and commit further sexual assaults for which he served prison time. He enabled a sexual predator to keep his secret quiet, there should be no redemption arc for Quenneville in this story.

Totally agree. He should never be allowed back in the NHL.

I don’t watch the games but I watch the studio shows. I think Alexa and Alan May do a very good job. Alexa was a little inexperienced at first but I feel like she and Alan have built good chemistry and she’s no longer as nervous as she once seemed.

Consider this the twabby Stamp of Emmy Approval!

Fans should be irrelevant here. The league should harbor the outrage... or at least have a baseline of standards for conduct.
Should unfortunately doesn’t come into play here. Revenue drives decision-making for these businesses. If he’s bad for business he won’t be back. If he’s tolerable, he will be.

Do you have a problem with the job she's done?
The fact she literally does nothing but look at Alan May, nod profusely at his every word and smile at the camera? Yeah I do. She offers nothing of value to the pre or post game show. Find me a clip of some riveting analysis she's given. I dare you.

I enjoy Mays analysis and his passion for the Caps so im not very upset that he is the leading voice in the room. No problem with Alexa they seem to work good together.
