Like he’s in training camp…How has backstrom looked thus far?
Here let me try
Ovechkin-Dowd-Oshie
Milano-Eller-Wilson
Johansson-Strome-NAK
Sheary-Backstrom-Hathaway
13thF: Kuznetsov
14thF: Matt Irwin
15thF: Anthony Mantha
Seems obvious they don’t see that as the longterm solution, so they’re searching.only been said like 1,000 times already but keep Backstrom and Wilson together for the sake of the other lines and it all gets easier. Tag Mantha to them since he played a lot with Backstrom. Then you get Ovi-Strome-Sheary back together. Milano-Kuz-Oshie had some okay moments. Then you can stick one of eller or mojo with Dowd-Hath. How has this thought process and logic not found its way through the coaching staff yet when like everyone here and on twitter has basically posted the same combos?
It's like they're still looking for the right mix but you can get the right mix through basic process of elimination!
They can still do it for the short term to get them up to game speed and separate them during practice reps. Wilson was awful the other night and Backstrom is at the very least rusty.Seems obvious they don’t see that as the longterm solution, so they’re searching.
can’t gift players slots who have already earned them and are paid massively for them. You have to integrate them. They can still do it for the short term to get them up to game speed and separate them during practice reps. Wilson was awful the other night and Backstrom is at the very least rusty.
No reason to be dropping points to gift players slots, right?
you absolutely can, what happened to "produce and play"?can’t gift players slots who have already earned them and are paid massively for them. You have to integrate them.
I like the line tinkering…..it’s a long season. It was getting too quiet here with minimal complaints due to winning anyways…..
Work through it differently than those practice lines hahaThey're just working through some things in the room...
Like, a f**k ton of drugs, and some hallucinogenics…They're just working through some things in the room...
Real talk, it was always gonna be a bad thing in the short termMan Lavy is terrible at making lines.
He made getting Backstrom and Wilson back a bad thing.
