Was waiting for The Boys to finish out before tackling it. There are some shows I can tolerate the once a week model but those are very rare these days. Even with some shows I really like sometimes just can't deal with the once a week thing.

I've only seen Netflix do it on the Korean content but they will do like two episodes a week but they are generally longer seasons but personally find that a bit more tolerable.

Been rewatching the WoT series still found it entertaining. Still not sure why its not in 4k I guess the LotR series is taking all the money.

I’m with you, normally let it all cue up (and they have now)….the first episode is so over the top!

What sort of irritates me, and this was a problem in the dvr+3 and live watching type metrics, that my viewing style has less value when it comes to evaluating viewership. As many can figure always been a pretty hard core TV watcher fan that watches way too much than healthy but some plugs who likes a show and watches it live but not much else has more value.

Even before Netflix streaming I had the six tuner dvr and would just wait till the season was done before watching but that won't count at all towards viewership as far as renewing a show. So I would feel kind of stupidly guilty that my viewership preference really didn't help shows I liked.

Finally finished the latest Stranger Things seasons. Have to say those last two super long episodes felt bloated and that is coming from me that generally enjoys the way too long director's cuts. Do like the back story that got filled in this season.

Sounded like one more season and I think they are already talking about a spinoff new series. Hopefully one set in the mid 90s where Metallica sold out with the black album and the whole emo grunge time.

Wow….I loved it….didn’t think that once.

I also saw that Metallica responded on their Insta with the Eddied scene….pretty cool. They felt honored.

Yeah that scene was cool and hey Master of Puppets is their best album. They could have easily gone Iron Maiden but was cool to see thrash metal representing.

I do like how it worked out that that two of the groups not local were able to help in their own way. Kept thinking how the hell they are going to get back in time.

Finished up Bosch on Amazon Prime. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy cop/detective shows. I believe one of the writers is from The Wire and it features a few prominent actors from The Wire as well. 7 seasons total so a lot to get through. There’s also a “spinoff” called Bosch Legacy that I started up as well.

Yeah Bosch probably the best all round prime series for sure I really enjoyed it. Watched a couple of episodes on the spinoff and it is still decent though annoying to deal with commercials.

New Thor was a fun movie, Marvel just doesn’t miss. Wasn’t as good as Ragnarok but still had good laughs and fun action, no Hulk tho.
I wonder how Thor v Hercules will go. I had no idea Hercules was in Marvel comics, I was surprised. Generally Hercules is a positive being among fans and so is Thor obviously

Keep forgetting to jump on that. Keep getting sucked into Korean dramas on netflix, heh. That as well as the latest star trek show I need to finish up.
I've been putting off my Trek stuff….so much content now I rotate genres or sub-genres to not burn out.

I just started the new Resident Evil series on Netflix. Probably the best stuff in that entire storyline so far. 3 episodes in.

I don't really remember a lot about Hercules in my limited comic exposure except seeing him occasionally and going "that's dumb" but from what I do remember he was kind of a buttplug. Then again, Thor in the comics is kind of a buttplug too they just dialed his ass down for the movies. How "bad" is he?

First watch through? I’m jealous. I am going to get to S6 after I the last episodes of S4 of Stranger Things drop this week.

I’m watching Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes on HBO. It’s a documentary that’s pretty much 100 minutes of found footage from Soviet era archives and it’s fascinating. Don’t think I appreciated how utopian life was for workers in Pripyat before the disaster. Seems like it was a postcard city for life in the former Soviet Union. And it’s wild how little everyone knew about the severity of the disaster… the Iron Curtain was real.
This bored me…..Chernobyl was 100x better.

The dubbing was even worse…..”man talks into microphone”….wtf….
Hah, yeah I mean I have the subtitles on even when it is native english but sometimes its distracting when you see like: *emotional music swells*.

Crushing through S3 of the Boys last night with a couple eps left. Can they please just kill Homelander once and for all. Don't think I can deal with another season of that character.

He's the reason the show works. Anthony Starr is utterly fantastic in that role, and the character's antagonism is what holds everything together.

I think Starr has been fantastic I guess I just get bit tired of holding on to the big bads too long. Yes he's awful person and supe. The Soldier Boy guy from supernatural has been good.

Discovery season 4 is disappointing me. I feel like I’m just grinding through it. I started to feel that way in season 3.

I hope Strange New Worlds changes that….
