Post-Game Talk: Capitals at Rangers 12/8/2013

It's been a very unhealthy marriage for me since day 1. A lot of ups and downs, a lot of good times, a lot of bad times, sometimes this team can pick you up when you're feeling like dog$@$^$, other times it can kick you right in the @#$@#!$ when you're already down and out.
 
I've gone to 4 games and they've lost all 4 and got out scored 13-4, maybe I'm the bad luck guy

So after tonight, the Panthers, Isles, Sabres, Oilers are the only teams that have more regulation losses than the Rangers..
 
Embarrassing.

Keep it up guys. Stay far away from the playoffs. Couple more pathetic performances like this will push Sather's hand.

if your that pissed of before even watching the game you should be allowed nowhere near a Dvr/Tivo :laugh:

im sure people are going to be quick to throw this into the whole backup goalie=Hasek column, but what it comes down to is a team realizing their playing in front of a rookie goalie, and locking down the center of the ice and playing it safe, there was room to skate along the boards and behind the net put they collapsed on the puck anytime things got dicey, ant this team IS NOT good enough to get going offensively if we don't get a few favors here and there.

Also i thought del zotto had a good game, him and zucc were the only semblance of a bright spot out there tonight, John Moore continues to look like he doesn't belong playing this level of hockey.

i know right! how i long for the days of grinding out 1g games and watching our defense set up as targets for the opposition to take shots at.

Jabroni: The Dark Ages were painful beyond belief. It's not that bad yet. The East Coast specifically NY is pretty brutal during Dec-Mar and having a bad hockey team and something not to carry you through the tough months made winters very long.

This team isn't ****. You see, **** can be used to grow things. This team is radioactive waste.

Not sure I care anymore. Just something different from this team.

Short of that I'd like to see some negative press questioning Sather's competence. Maybe some off color quotes from players in the papers.....some drama

Dump contracts...new blood....lather, rinse, repeat.

Too bad dz cant hit the net for his life. It's amazing how a player can miss the net almost every time
