THE CANUCKS LOST A FUTURE 10X NORRIS WINNER, A RICH MAN'S CHARA, IN NIKITA TRYAMKIN FOR NOTHING. WHY? I THINK I KNOW WHY NOW
Don’t forget Jakov Studinushkin and Sheldosh DriesnikovBoris Horvatkin (Tocchet knew he wasn’t a fellow Ontario boy, takes one to know one)
Anton Beauvilokov (easier to fake French accent than an English one, look it up)
Etonov Bear (I mean the guy’s last name is Bear, guess which Eastern European country has a ton of bears just walking around in the streets? Checkmate)
Kiril Burrostrov (come on, that moustache isn’t fooling anyone, that’s the oldest trick in the book, I guess he fooled Mike Grier though lol).
Cole, because he signed a one year contract without the player option of a clause to prevent a trade. Should be granted that even without negotiating? He is a FA. Go for nothing IF something is offered? Why not Cole? A UFA they just signed, that would be extremely bad form to trade him the same season they signed him. Agents hate that.
Why not Soucy? Well, he's also a UFA they just committed too, and he has trade protection. And lets be real, he's played better than Zadarov when both have been in the line up.
He is going to get paid way too much. The cap will be even more crushing the next 3/4 years. He is an RFA so the team could trade his rights and still get a bucket full. Why not Hronek? lol, shutup, don't be dumb. He's an incredibly important part of the team's success.
Again I agree with you. BUT tall, lanky, RHD that can skate. You would think there would be a rumour about him too.Why not Myers? Well, he's the team's second best right shot defensemen, not ideal, but he's playing well and it helps the team. And he has trade protection.
Zardorov was never going to be a rental. Too many posters forget 2 years ago when there were the rumours of the Canucks interest but no cap space, they tried for him when he went to Calgary on a one year contract from Chicago. Why would there be rumours of Zadarov? Well, he's a rental UFA, they have no obligation to keep him just because they traded for him. He's a not a right shot defensemen. He has no trade protection. He is part of a surplus of Left D with Cole and Soucy (who the Canucks have made UFA commitments too)
like you're being daft. Actually look at the damn details. He's in the rumours because he's the easiest to move with the least repercussions. Take off the tin foil hat.
I suspect this stems from nothing either then us here talking about trading and upgrading inefficient and redundant parts of the roster, which coincidentally all happen to be Russians. Kuzmenko getting traded crystalizing paranoia into conspiracy.Wait where the hell is a legit Mikheyev rumor.. i missed it if there is?
And where is a legit Podkolzin rumor.. i missed it if there is?
@Sergei Shirokov i just don’t want him to miss this post

He was on pace for 40 goals in his last NHL season.....
There isn't either.Wait where the hell is a legit Mikheyev rumor.. i missed it if there is?

We’ve been schmeckeldorfed!We’ve been bamboozled
Cole, because he signed a one year contract without the player option of a clause to prevent a trade. Should be granted that even without negotiating? He is a FA. Go for nothing IF something is offered?
Soucy, Iike the kid but his trade value is likely even higher than Zadorov's due to being RHD and on a very cheap contract. The team is and has been winning without him in the line up. His 28 game absence hasn't crippled the team.
But then why no rumours about a Soucy trade, especially out of Toronto? Zadorov lots. You know the team has only 3 regulation losses after the Zardorov trade.
He is going to get paid way too much. The cap will be even more crushing the next 3/4 years. He is an RFA so the team could trade his rights and still get a bucket full.
These are trade rumours I posting about, not trades that I want.
Again I agree with you. BUT tall, lanky, RHD that can skate. You would think there would be a rumour about him too.
Cole doesn't have trade protection.
Zardorov was never going to be a rental. Too many posters forget 2 years ago when there were the rumours of the Canucks interest but no cap space, they tried for him when he went to Calgary on a one year contract from Chicago.
Cole and Soucy didn't cost the Canucks anything. The Canucks gave up a 3rd and 5th pick for Zadorov. It cost nothing to trade one of them.
The easiest to move? Why? Why move him at all?
There is no reason to trade Zadorov, so why the rumours?
As the season goes I gain more confidence in the management group.Aight man, I respectfully disagree. I hope you are enjoying the run we're on and the future for the team because it looks bright. Have a great rest of the afternoon
@theguardianII
The team is first in the league and is actively trying to contend why would they trade players off their roster that are helping them get to that goal? They're trading under performing players like Kuzmenko to help shore up areas like center depth, pk etc.
Who cares if Cole walks for nothing, if he helps the team in the playoffs? Hronek might be expensive... but that's because he's been very very good and will help the team continue to be very good. You pay players like that. Mind boggling that doesn't make sense to you.
Podkolzin and Mikheyev haven't been in any real rumors besides fan generated. Even the talk around zadorov is murky because what the f*** does Don Taylor know.
And Tocchet is right. Mik is coming off a major surgery and was glued to Kuz the entire season for some reason even though it clearly wasn't working. I bet Mikheyev will be better off with better line mates.MIkheyev is not in the doghouse. Tocchet essentially split the blame of his play on his knee recovery and Kuzmenko.
Take off the tin foil hat, let your head breath once in a while.
And flat out denied by Rutherford.Zadorov was actually brought up by Friedman, among others.
