A lot of anger over a meaningless game.
Granted, I didn't actually watch the game, so I'm assuming it's justified, but it's an odd thing to see from a normally laid-back board.

Meaningless games become a lot less meaningless when the other teams takes numerous unpunished liberties with your best player and even the slightest hint of physicality by us was met with penalties.
Part of me feels this way, the other part feels like this was a gutless no-effort loss and they deserved to lose a lot worse than they did.

Are you serious? What were they supposed to do when the refs were that terrible and making those calls? Seriously. Even to the last shift, the Canes were burdened with the necessity of trying to win, something that the miserable **** heel Sabre****s haven't needed to worry about for months.
What would be the downside of taking loads of penalties in order to send a message?
