They need a smarter way of creating brackets or else this nonsense happens. This isn’t a bracket. It’s a cake walk. It’s boring too.

The thing is, there are really only 5 teams that have a chance to win in this tourney every year: Canada, Finland, USA, Sweden, and Russia. One group will always have 3 while the other group will have 2. The group that has 2 of these teams will always feel like a weak group.

Why isn't Benjamin Conz playing?

I expect him in nets each year. This would be much closer with him in nets.

Some players should have age eligibility waived. He's a legend.

Just tuned in and only saw the first goal. Pretty weak one to give up for Patenaude. Ice times look a little better but nowhere near where they should be. And with Patenaude in goal we probably never had a chance. How many more weak goals did he allow? PP unchanged I guess?
Good to see Salzgeber back in the lineup. We needed him the first two games though...

Good time to ask, are outdoor Hockey rinks open for the rest of you throughout Canada or elsewhere?

Or even indoor Stick and puck.

All hockey is shut down in Manitoba... except for the Jets at their training facility...

You can go skate outside, but the wind has been real bad...

My daughter went out to one of the community clubs yesterday...

They are here in Ottawa. The weather has been shit so the non refrigerated ones haven't really taken off yet but a few have started to flood.

Indoor is shut down at this time.

I think this bracket hurts Canada if anything. Challenging round robin games are a good thing. The last thing you want is a sleepy team heading into quarterfinals.

Yes in Alberta with a restriction of people allowed on

Thanks!

Interesting. In Quebec indoor Stick and puck is open everywhere. And outdoor is open everywhere nearly, again just individual play with only 20 players indoor, 25 outdoors for limits.

And no masks needed on ice while playing Hockey.

Feel like the rest of Canada should do that for indoors skating and stick and puck. It's worked magnificently here.

Slovakia played a great game against Canada the other day... the rest has been aerobics...

Finland will be a real hockey game...
