Another lucky assist for Byfield

Byfield is the player who carried the puck into the zone on the powerplay, passed it back and forth with Suzuki and then got into the slot and forced the goalie to try to move the puck away from him. The puck did finally go off of his skate and getting an assist for it was maybe a little lucky, but he actually did a lot to set up and create that goal.

Well, none of these guys were stupidly compared to Malkin. Byfield is unfairly judged based on stupid expectations.

He is a high risk high reward prospect and always was.

I think the only player I’d dare to compare to Geno in this tournament is Stutzle and that’s only in style, not potential. Kids a highly skilled wrecking ball.
