There's #3 for Byfield lol.

He has granite hands though. He should've punched that in himself.

And dozens of times where holding the puck opens up passing lanes exclusively because of his poise on the puck. Kid is having another dominant performance tonight. This game in general is completely lopsided and pretty boring given the outcome was never remotely in doubt.

Oh, he is a great player. I just think he keeps it too long at times and put himself in trouble unnecessarily.

Just saw it. Boys laying the body well, it’s a good sign. Keep playing this way and the offence will come. This is how we need to play.
You've been right about that all along for this team, 4 lines, lay the body, puck support..............then things will open up. Trying to make picture pretty plays to show how good they are isn't gonna cut it at all, they have been off for far too long from playing to be trying for that shit all the time and just need to stick to the Basics to how we play and win games.

Getting some pucks to the net and crashing the net has worked wonders for the PP, obviously there's always a place for high end skill but I'm glad they're not trying to find the perfect goal every PP now. Success with the dirty ones usually leads to offensive confidence anyway.

I mean point wise. He would add something to the Flyers but I don't see him as more than a 50 pt forward which is fine but not for where he was drafted.

He's the kind of guy you build a team around. Maybe they only have a need for him to have 50 - 70 points. Maybe he's the kind of guy that takes on the opposing no. 1 centre and leans on him all night.

Byfield has 3 assists but did you see him try to enter the zone and lose the puck.

He can get another 3 and he's still not impressive .

I want a dominant shift from him. Never seen him dominate one shift yet or at least stand out.
I wish he would put the fear of God in some of the Swiss players. They've been roughing him up.
