Bedard = Yakupov

Way too small and slow to ever be a superstar at the NHL level. Was completely invisible in all the difficult games this tournament, even if he put up 1+1 the other night against USA.
Your hockey takes are even worse than your non hockey takes.

Lol 5 Time in a row where? I guess every tournament where Canada loses you decide it was not best on best. I'm sure guys like Mcdavid, Crosby, Stamkos, Barzal, Stone, Theodore, Chabot, Marner, MacKinnon, Point, Ekblad etc who I've seen on world championships would not be even on Canada's 10th best team, probably 16th best!
are you that clueless about hockey that you dont know when they play actually BEST on BEST tournaments? ie: Olympics and World Cup of Hockey

Do you really need an explanation? talk about insecurities. Get over youself.

Honestly I felt the Czechs deserved this win more than Canada. They played collectively better than any team in this tournament.
I'm usually our biggest critic, but not this time. TSN did a chart of scoring chances throughout the game, and it wasn't even close. We couldn't finish, but that game wasn't as close as the score indicated.

Those of you comparing Bedard and Crosby in size is hilarious.

Not sure why Bedard is listed at 5'10" 185 but he is 5'8" at the most. Guy is a little slow midget out there. He's Yamamoto with a way better shot and vision.

Guy will be a solid 2nd liner in the NHL. Comparing him to guys like McDavid and Crosby is setting yourself up for failure. Those guys had tools to dominate the NHL. Bedard doesn't. Again, his comp is Yakupov.

I have no complaints. The goalie run pissed me off but otherwise... Canada was better and taking them to OT was special. Kulich scored the Sweden 3 on 3 winner so I won't blame him for the giveaway either.

Does Canada send their best players to those tournaments? If the answer is no, it’s not best on best.

Out of the true Best in best:
2002 Olympics - gold
2004 World Cup - gold
2006 Olympics - not gold
2010 Olympics - gold
2014 Olympics - gold
2016 World Cup - gold

Is that good? I’m not sure if that’s good?

Do you really need an explanation, or are you just in denial and SO insecure about your country's lack of success in real hockey tournaments?
I guess I'm clueless and so on because I would like to hear more about these 5 best on best tournaments Canada has won in a row. Maybe list them? Didn't get the answer yet

Canadian program doing wonderfully after a lean run before that for 3 years.

Canada dominating World Hockey since Sochi 2014.

It wasn’t even a giveaway from trying to do anything fancy or some stupid play. The puck just kind of rolled off his stick. I think there may have been some ice issues as players from both teams were really fighting the puck in OT.

Czechs played a hell of a tournament. I really thought they were going to take it in OT, that team wasBUZZING after that 2nd goal

I say this often. But if I have to read about the 2005 world Junior team.. then I think the 2005 world championships has to count as a best on best for the exact same reason the 2005 jr team is heralded. Everyone was available.

Canada has 3 back to back best on bests and back to back world Juniors... 6 of 7 Skoda cup finals too.

I appreciate the trolling attempt, but it isn't going to work. This tournament has been played since 1974, and he just finished with the third highest point total of all time, in an era of relative parody. You're not going to get much traction here. More laughs than outrage.
