no, youre ranking the countries that way

may as well base it on the Spengler Cup while youre at it... gimme a break, Finland
Don't forget Olympics. You can do that with Spengler if you want I guess Canada is the only national team playing there and they still lose lol

It's silver with a strong taste of gold for me. We outdone ourselves as nobody would ever dare to predict the Czechs in the final. Future looks a bit brighter once again and it really makes me happy. Congrats to Canada that was a well deserved gold and Bedard is an absolute monster that's going to rule this game for many years to come.

Wright not getting a lot of playing time in the NHL was the best that has happened to him. The NHL is a tough League to play in. Its the best League in the World and for a 18 year old to break in and play regularly that's a lot to ask for 99.9% of players everywhere

are you done making yourself look dumber than you are yet?

You acutally think Finalnd's D core is any sort of challenge for Canada's best lineup.

Whats is it?

Heiskanen, Maatta, Lindell, Hankaapaa, Ristolainen..... freakin scary, man.

When Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Puljujarvi are considered for your country's BEST lineup, I mean, seriously?

You mean the olympic tournaments where we had nhl leftovers playing from Europe?

We'll see when our center line will be Crosby Mackinnon Bedard and Mcdavid.

Instead of washed players than couldn't even make the AHL.
Looks nice on paper. Too bad your country along with Americans prevent best on best to happens so it's world championships (includes nhlers) and Olympics that determine the best country and it has been Finland last 4 years

What a tournament. Loved it from start to finish.

It’s the first time I’ve gotten to see Canada win back to back golds at this tournament, and it feels great. Feel bad for Czechia though, would’ve even been fine with them winning. Hopefully they keep building on this and take pride in snapping the medal drought.

This is like winning the cola wars when Coke and Pepsi don’t show up.

It’s still 3rd rate cola.

I was happy the Czechs beat Sweden to set up a possible gold medal game vs Canada. The way I saw it, either Canada loses gold to the only team that beat them, or we avenge ourselves and win gold. Obviously winning gold was the best scenario for us, but losing to the Czechs in the gold medal game IMO was the best losing case scenario.

Also, nice to see the Czechs competitive again.
