Excuse my ignorance because I'm new to the cpl. But do our boys from the MLS academies get loaned out to cpl teams? Does this give our future stars a chance to grow under better competition?

Yeah there are some youth players loaned out. There have been players loaned in from European leagues as well.

Massive W! Feels good to be back on winning terms!

There's some loans from MLS academies but honestly the CPL isn't a "development" league where it sacrifices youth in favor of quality of play. Over the course of a season, every team is required to give 2,000 total minutes to Canadian players aged 21 or under.

It does provide great exposure for some of the young players though. Cavalry have had a couple players leave this year to play overseas... Aribim Pebble (19 yrs old) joined Luton Town and Victor Loturi (21 yrs old) joined Ross Country.

Origi is better than either of those guys right now. By a lot
k - then perhaps it's him then.. Either way the team doesn't run through their center forward really but it certainly helps to have someone to finish a play, especially in the air against Canada.

This is disappointing for Scott and for the team. He is direct cover for Kamal and that puts Waterman in the frame. What do others think?
Sucks to see him go down. Scott has performed really well with CMNT. I think Waterman has done enough this past season to be on the team: that being said I don't know if I trust him in game action at the WC. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.

In other news Seba has an announcement for tomorrow:

Quoted he wrong one.

I think it's Cornelius. Left-footed like Kennedy. Decent chunk of International Experience already. I think we'll see ZBG or Edwards before Waterman at the WC.

Considering Atiba, Alistair commented I would think it's something with the NT. Assistant coach perhaps. Giovinco is a honorary Canadian.
