McDavid wininig gold medal in 2016. I don t think he have big motivation playing for Team Canada (accept all-stars )

I think this year could be patrick nolan superstar ... to manny no answers.

yeah, not much of a surprise re: Price. other than Domi, and possibly Drouin if things look really bleak, not really interested in any of the Habs players. So, Gallagher and Weber taking a pass suits me just fine.

Shaw has been invited and wants to go, but will talk with the doctors first.

Mete has not been invited yet, but wants to go

Ew we are at the point that we are taking Andrew Shaw?

he's not on my list, but in the right role (4th,line RW) he'd be decent enough. remember, there were a couple of players on the 2015 Prague Powerhouse that were/are similar to Shaw. (Eakin and Ennis) so, we could do worse. If he in fact is on the team and has a role greater than that, then there probably won't be much reason for me to tune in to the games this year. I hope the weather cooperates so I can get an early start on the BBQ season.

Andrew Shaw seems kinda meh, however he does bring cup experience and did have a nice resurgent year to warrant a 4RW or 13th forward spot. Hard to remember hes only 27 too.

Shaw also had 47 points in 63 games this year and he was top-60 in P/60 this season, he's played well this year.

Might make sense as a bottom-6 guy and capitalize on his likely career year.

Shaw is the kind of player I don't like getting on these teams. Grit doesn't play so well in Europe and I could see him getting plenty of stupid penalties. Not a great skater, not particularly good in hockey IQ, no experience with international hockey. Ideally, if he is there at least, you can hide him on the fourth line or at 13th forward and use him on the PK.

Price, Weber, Domi, Drouin, Byron, and Gallagher have declined from the habs

Danault and Shaw got invitations, but haven't accepted yet
