ive watched quote a few jets games and they generally get outplayed like this every game. not impressed at all, its just all flash but no substance.

Yeah its a beaut. I wasn't around when he played... but the Hip song... and I read a book about his life when I was a kid. Always thought it was a tragic story but scoring the goal he did would of been such a crazy moment. One of the bigger Leaf lore stories for me.

I continue to contend that having kids is a huge detriment to his game, even if you're rich and can afford lots of help it's still extra work and stress and lack of sleep.

I'm surprised more NHL stars aren't like Crosby or Sundin and postpone having kids until later in their career if at all.

They should discourage players from having kids until they win a cup. Celibate until you celebrate.

Plenty of NHLers have kids, they're just not finishing. Could have had 3-4 points easily tonight.

It's not sustainable when you get thoroughly outplayed most nights. The shooting percentage will regress and goaltending can only take you so far. Also, penalties aren't called as much in the playoffs

They need to improve their 5 on 5 play for any shot at a playoff run

none of their forwards work hard defensively and their defence is ne of the worst in the nhl. leafs used to get slammed for being that lazy defensively, for some reason the jets get let off the hook.

Depends on the individuals. Easiest time in my experience is when they are young. Once you need to start chauffeuring is when it becomes work.

Have to hand it to this team. Every time a team closes in on first place, Leafs step up their game. Did it to Edmonton a few times and now Winnipeg.
Campbell made some big saves and thats what a good goalie should do.
Kerfoot shows how underrated he is.

It's great to see a Leafs team I can be confident in, when closing out a game. Holl looks really good out there, and coach had him out at many key moments too. Team D from the forwards was really excellent today I thought.
