We are without two top six scoring forwards who are young have excellent skills and back the other team off of the blue line and a #2/3 mobile smart Dman. That's 3 very key pieces to our puzzle so it seems pretty easy to see why we are struggling to me. Get those 3 back and we go right back to good.

Also the Kings in 2012 dropped out of the playoffs early in 2012. Its why Murray was fired.

Not in January

Is my statement factually false? Why is everyone coming after me over this?

We have issues. I get it. I see more reasons to be positive than negative even tonight. This stuff is fixable and I'm keeping the faith. Not forcing anyone else to.

I know some people here are optimistic, but this year we have more problems than before. The Kings problem the last couple of seasons was that they were unable to score goals. But this year, they can't kill penalties, hold onto leads, can't forcheck, the D doesn't look good and they need better games from the goalies.

They also can't score in a shootout. Forget winning one, they can't even get a single ****ing goal. I don't want to look at how many points we pissed away in those.

It's time to start bracing for reality. This is not a playoff team.

It was freaking Williams that had the turnover.

He's talking about the first goal. If Martinez didn't turn it over and give them the breakaway then it never would've gone to overtime.

A big problem right now with our team is that when they make a mistake, the other team capitalizes on it well but when the other team makes a mistake, we are terrible at capitalizing. That's one of the most important aspects of any game where 1 goal so often means the difference between victory and defeat.

30+ minutes for Drew. :shakehead

If by some miracle they make the playoffs, our top pairing would be burned out before game 1.

I can only agree completely with you. We aren't done yet. Be the kind of fan you want your team to play like and give em hell all the way to the end. We are missing 3 key players. Toffoli will come back and maybe even Pearson before the end of the season and the Voynov situation will solve itself too. Once those 3 things are resolved we are right back in it. Weren't we 8-1 on a home stand right before Voynov's troubles started? Here's is to hoping he is found to be innocent (for more than just hockey reasons) and that he is back to playing hockey soon and that we get our players back. It just isn't over yet.

This stings. The Kings have ruled the league in possession at even-strength and are scoring more this season. They still couldn't win games even when we had Pearson and Toffoli. I seriously don't know how they are going to fix this. What do you fix with what we have? They played a good game and lost another one-goal game.

This stings.

A big problem right now with our team is that when they make a mistake, the other team capitalizes on it well but when the other team makes a mistake, we are terrible at capitalizing. That's one of the most important aspects of any game where 1 goal so often means the difference between victory and defeat.

That's exactly right.

They are ****ing horrible. Have been all year. Maybe it looks better on t.v. but it's looked like ass in person all season.

Can Richards shoot the god damn puck at at least a high school level for **** sake? When's the last time he didn't flub a shot or smash it five feet wide? Trade him for Scott Gomez 2009 at this point.

This team is a real **** show. Changes need to be made now.

Why be mad at Voynov until we find out with certainty what happened? I mean god forbid the guy be innocent. Not saying he is but then again none of us know what actually happened and last I checked he is still a King. Jeez.

Six point out of fourteen on the home stand has buried the Kings. Its flip switch boy's you're in a hole, and have to go on the road after the break.

Anytime now boy's.

14-14-12 other than the 6-0 home stand to start the year. 40 points in 40 games. They've been living off the first home stand for a while now. This one canceled the first one out.

6 of the next 7 games on the road, where of course the Kings haven't been good all year. The 1 home game is against the Hawks, who have already beaten the Kings at home this year. The first game after this road trip coming up is against Calgary, and we've seen that movie a couple times already this year too.

Now it's crunch time. The Kings have put themselves in this position, and the next 8 games will define the rest of the season. They can't suck. They can't not score. They can't give up too many goals on few shots.

We've been waiting for this all year long. It's 0-3 against SJ. It's down 3-2 to Anaheim. It's down 2-0 in Chicago in Game 7.
