Yeah, but we had options then because everybody knew Murray had to go. What's the answer to this garbage? It's not Sutter or Lombardi's fault. My guess is that there is no hunger and the guys are tired from the last three years.

I know some people here are optimistic, but this year we have more problems than before. The Kings problem the last couple of seasons was that they were unable to score goals. But this year, they can't kill penalties, hold onto leads, can't forcheck, the D doesn't look good and they need better games from the goalies.

Also the Kings in 2012 dropped out of the playoffs early in 2012. Its why Murray was fired.

Not in January, folks its almost February.

I know the sky is falling, and I'm tired of this team underperforming when we know what they're capable of, but I'm going to hold off on the doomsday proclamations until mid-February. If the Kings don't turn it around in a big way after the all-star break (like they do every single year), then this team is going to get a nice shake up after the season.

Until then, well, at least the Australian Open is on for the next two weeks?
