Sabres send Savoie to Rochester on conditioning loan | Buffalo Sabres
The Amerks host Charlotte on Wednesday.

There is a six day break after the game on the 4th. He will be there until the 5th. This gets him a couple days of time down there before game 1 instead of after he’s done playing. If he can be with them for only 14 days, I wonder why they didn't send him Wednesday, so he can get as much time there as possible.. unless the 14 days officially starts at the first game
No, he isn't on the active roster unless they call him back up.Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't he now count against the 23-man roster limit?
If so, what was the other move?

he’s on SOIR. He is technically on it.I don't think he does since he's technically not on the NHL roster
it’s WenatcheeAt least he collected a few NHL weekly paychecks but we won't see him again until Whahootchie's season is over.
14 dayshow long are you allowed to keep him down there
Or they could carry 2 goalies. Radical idea but I feel like it could catch on around the league.he’s on SOIR. He is technically on it.
You can do to injury rehab assignment.
he’s on team IR can be sent to Rochester before being activated for Sabres. Expect something similar with Quinn.
when Savoie is due to be called up they will decide on Benson staying. Savoie could replace Benson
Probably to get reps with the NHL squad to see where is and what he needs developmentally wiseIf he can be with them for only 14 days, I wonder why they didn't send him Wednesday, so he can get as much time there as possible.. unless the 14 days officially starts at the first game
Id bet they wanted him to be completely healthy as well. I don't know that health played a role in timing but it could have.If he can be with them for only 14 days, I wonder why they didn't send him Wednesday, so he can get as much time there as possible.. unless the 14 days officially starts at the first game
I think they also want him to be delayedId bet they wanted him to be completely healthy as well. I don't know that health played a role in timing but it could have.
When I probably tore my labrum the shoulder came right out later in the week, in the middle of the night. I just popped it back in and went back to sleep...not a second thought. Turns out maybe that lack of pain was because my whole joint is too damn loose. Always seemed like a plus...but maybe not. So I guess I just don't know yet if my shoulder will "be right" going forward. Seems fine lately. I'll have to throw a baseball a hundred times to find out.
