He absolutely is eligible to play in Rochester once his CHL season is done. Once the CHL season is done....since he's signed his ELC, the Sabres can control what he does. So the Sabres can re-assign him from Winnipeg to Rochester.
I would rather see him play in the WC but I am not sure he would get the call. Only a few times have I seen CHL players play in the WC. Bedard probably would but he is still playing.

Yeah, it's typically only the elite of the elite CHL guys that get the WC call. It'd be great for him, but I don't see it.

Firkus and Yager have each scored in the first, Moose Jaw up 2-0. Ostapchuk's line was on for both, though the second was Lambos having a brain cramp and throwing the puck away.

Geekie with his second of the night to tie the game. He's thrown a couple of big hits too.

Savoie was flying earlier, has had a couple excellent chances but at 4-on-4 he and Benson get matched on Yager and Firkus. It's a chess match.

How Benson didn't score on that strip and feed from Savoie is beyond me. 93 is all over the place on this shift and Benson couldn't finish it off.

LFG!

Great goal after he had set the table and it was turned aside (again) moments ago. He has nine now and Winnipeg is up 3-2.

Savoie to McClennon at the Warriors' crease, McClennon slides it home on the first shift of the 2nd period to make it 3-0.

Edit - Next shift, McClennon coming up RW with Savoie driving the middle land and Benson on LW hits a Warrior on the pass at it's 4-0.
