Please feel free to post those many people. Few is 3 so 5 links will work?

Oh and when you say many we are talking scouts right?

Every mock draft I could find, or scouting report had Savoie over Snuggarud except Button.

McKenzie had Savoie at 9 and Snug at 17
Sportsnet had Savoie at 9 and Snug at 16
MyNHLDraft had Savoie at 9 and Snug at 16
NHL consensus poll from Scouts had Savoie at 6 and Snug at 24
The Hockey News had Savoie at 9 and Snug at 17
The Hockey Writers had Savoie at 6 and Snug at 26

I can keep going? I mean its not even close.
I'm talking about people on the main board here. You know, the people who usually know way more than these dumb media personalities, and the reason we're here instead of reddit or twitter?

Savoie, is having your typical slight down year. He's still a highly dynamic player. Considering right now he's a luxury we don't have to factor into the equation yet. Let him play hockey and focus on the ride boys!
The production has declined but his play hasn't he is still a tenacious dynamic player that generates offense

For those wondering, he's centering Nash and Benson at the moment. That can change, Patrick will shuffle his lines if something isn't working or if a player has an injury.

FWIW, the Ice ended up winning 6-3 over the Winterhawks. The three stars of the game were, in order: Benson, Savoie, and Nash. Savoie had 2 goals and 2 assists and is now 4th on the team in scoring. His points per game is now 1.366 vs 1.384 last year

Yep. Most of his points from the game are in the posts above the one you quoted. Him and Benson continue their dynamic duo act. As tandems go, they're fun to watch as they both think the game in the same way.

And Benson should go top 10 this draft, he's in that 3rd tier of players

Ty Nash is Arizona born. He’s the kid of former Blue and Coyote (and current Coyote colour guy) Tyson Nash.

Do the Sabres draft him for the Arizona connection or for the Savoie connection? :badidea:

EDIT: he also played a year with Cozens in Lethbridge. So there’s that too

I sometimes feel like we post things and then a few hours later, very similar things get posted.
I'm just glad to see the points coming for Savoie so we can hopefully move him off the TDL trade bait list.

Personally, I do not want to see Adams move any of Rosen, Savoie, Ostlund, and Kulich. But since Savoie missed the WJCs while the other three were there, it seemed like more than a few people were saying the Sabres could move Savoie in a deal.

I have a feeling that moving Savoie would look really bad down the road.

Patience with Sabres first rounders has never been a thing around here other than maybe with Power.

One or more are eventually moving for D help.

I seriously doubt it'll be Kulich. The rest, not sure.

Moving one of them is likely to be their Filip Forsberg moment IMO. And not the good side of that either.

That said, the Caps have done a great job of both drafting and developing players so it isn't like losing Forsberg greatly hampered them. We can hope Buffalo too can continue to dig up draft talent outside of the top 10 and in later rounds in the way other teams have.

With the Sabres perhaps looking at going with four scoring lines in the future, I could see them keeping all four of them to add high end firepower to their bottom 6 forwards.

Moving one or two of them for D help is the impatient move. If Kevyn Adams has shown anything thus far in his time as the Sabres GM is that he is patient.

:dunno:

He was very good at the prospects and I liked what he showed during pre-season. He is a special talent.

ICE made a big deal to add another’s big piece. They are all in for a deep playoff run.

In my mind, there's a VERY big difference between Rosen and the other 3. I was one of those preaching patience & deference regarding Rosen when many were down on him after his D+1 year, and that's part of why I was SO disappointed in what I saw from him in this WJC tournament. I don't think he's a core player at all and I'm now skeptical whether he'll even be a regular productive top 6 player in the NHL at all. I would MUCH rather include him in a deal than any of the other high end prospects or picks, but I'm similarly skeptical as to how much he's valued league-wide (perhaps there's a few teams that like him, but I'm sure many teams would have similar doubts).

But I certainly agree on on the other 3 guys you mentioned. Completely different level IMO.
