and that's how I know you didn't watch him the whole tournament.
I been at every game...i live in halifax...he is nifty with the puck and can get himseld out of danger but when mcisaac or chainey went on him when they pushed on him he let the puck go...no where did i say the kid was a bad player the whole thread i tild someo e he is no where near giroux level and as a post above no where did i compare suzuki and ratcliffe to nate and drouin i was using them for comparison of how using pointa is a bad indication of predicting how good someone is...either way im at the tournament watching live and not watching on tv...i have my opinion od suzuki...right or wrong he is very skilled...i dont find though he is a guy who can take over the pace of a game and motivate his whole team with amazing leadership...he is a guy who is flashy, good skater...and taking excellent shots and makes amazing saucer passes...he looks more like a daniel briere than a claud giroux to me..also no where in my thread did i saw ratcliffe was better than suzuki...just said his leadership qualities are better and imo hence why he has the C

Not gonna go into the Batman-Robin, Crosby, Giroux, plus-minuses after game 5, all-star selections nonsense but will point out that Suzuki thread started in March 2016 had 6 pages before draft, 2 more pages until the trade from Vegas to Mtl in Sept 2018 and now fans have added 19 more pages.

What changed exactly? Suzuki has been an OHL 100 pt guy since the 16-17 season.

hab fans are a crazy passionate bi-polar group if there ever was one.

Haha probably.
In the pre-draft 6 pages Suzuki thread, only 1 habs fan showed up. In the 2 Vegas pages, only 1 Habs fan commented and twice it was to point out his skating which was a concern to him.
Next 19 pages are a little different lets leave it at that.

Yea it's shocking that a fanbase would begin discussing a prospect they acquired.

Not shocked one bit, more like amused. Kind of evident Habs fans in here had no warm fuzzy feelings or even the slightest interest for Suzuki when he was racking up pts in 2016-17 in his draft year or when he did the same after Vegas picked him up. Judging by his thread.

Found it odd that you need to go wayy back to find threads on Glass or Tippett drafted earlier and who both have nice seasons as well.

lol

You find it amusing that a teams fanbase doesn't care as much when the player isn't their prospect, and odd that big market prospects get more attention?

That in itself is really, really odd.

He also played for one of the five smallest markets in the CHL, not hard to fly under the radar here.
